A senior member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has had his visa cancelled by the United States government.
The police superintendent confirmed last night that his US visa was cancelled.
The police officer told The Gleaner that he was informed last month about the status of his visa and has since passed on his documents to his lawyers.
When contacted the Constabulary Force’s communications director Karl Angell, was unwilling to say whether the police high command had a view on the issue.
The latest visa cancellation follows the revelation last month that chairman of the Urban Development Corporation and businessman Wayne Chen had his visa revoked.
The reason for that cancellation has not been made public, but Chen has sought the assistance of the foreign affairs ministry to have the matter resolved.
